Capella University wanted to modernize its website to showcase its new FlexPath option and add easy-to-find CTAs.

I worked with my design partner to develop a prototype of the homepage that we presented to the marketing C-suite. Our design and content tone won the pitch. That began my journey into the world of agile with Capella’s Website Overhaul Project. On a daily basis, I collaborated with multiple departments—UX, development, web authoring, digital experiences, and brand—while managing a team of five writers to bring to life Capella’s new tone and voice to 250+ Capella.edu pages. The new site successfully launched June 2017—improving overall user experience and natural search rankings.
